Major distribution company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DBA Manager with strong SQL and Oracle with some DB2 experience to lead a team of DBAs and manage, lead projects over all the database, projects and systems and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects to implement highly scalable database solutions to support business.
• Develop data models that support business processes.
• Lead database hardware/software evaluations and evolution of Company's database infrastructure.
• Design and execute overall database architecture strategy, along with necessary data standards and practices.
• Work with application development teams to ensure that database changes adhere to best practices and are properly prioritized.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience working as a multi-platform database professional (Administrator, designer, developer and architect). Preferably SQL DBA with Oracle experience as well.
• 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role with a focus in database management.
• Leading day to day management of DBA projects experience.
• Bachelors Degree required
