Software Solutions Engineer/Customer Support Engineer Needed for Growing Internet Media firm in the Boston, MA area. You will have an extensive Web Development background working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, coupled with strong SQL skills and experience interfacing and managing client/customer relations on a day to day basis.

This firm is in the midst of building out a next generation platform to manage and deliver services through The Cloud. This is a company with an excellent management staff in place, a strong background and success in other start up ventures over the last 10 years, and looking to grow the current Tech staff to have the best assembled team in the country, and push revenue in 2011.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong web developer to take the next step in their career into the business side of things, and not only put your HTML, JavaScript and SQL skills to use, but your business skills to use as well.

You will have previous experience working in an Internet/web driven environment, and have experience managing enterprise level accounts, essentially being the point person between your organization and the client. In this role you will be responsible for managing client expectations, defining project scopes, creating deadlines, working with engineers through the life cycle development process and provide customer, application and technical support as well.

Must have experience with the following experience:
- 3+ years of web development experience - HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Client and Server Side development skills - SQL experience
- 3+ years of experience providing technical, application and customer support working in an Internet/Web driven environment
- Experience working in a account management capacity managing 1 or multiple enterprise level clients/customers
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage project schedules and provide detailed updates
- Working knowledge of software development life cycle processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy work environment
- Previous Internet, Media, E-commerce, social media, or entertainment knowledge and experience preferred

Responsibilities will consist of the following:
- Responsible for managing client expectations, defining project scopes, creating deadlines
- Write data business requirements documents - create maps for incoming and outgoing data
- Working with engineers through the life cycle development process and provide support as well.
- Provide technical support for email and phone systems
- Work with account managers on new products and technologies for which the program managers will be responsible
- Act as the middle person between Executive Management, Engineering Staff, Product Development team, and Clients
- Schedule meetings, provide deadlines with program managers, and gather information from clients
- Provide ongoing status updates to all parties
