Content Management System Developer

Our client is seeking a Content Management System Developer. The Principal Programmer will play a key role within the organization. The candidate will be designing and developing components of the infrastructure. The Principal Programmer position is a senior level technical position in software development and systems engineering that entails requirements analysis, technical software design, software development, supporting the Quality Assurance test phase, and troubleshooting/supporting Production field problems. This position also includes answering technical questions from clients and resolving applications and operations issues. Development activities include participating in architecture design, designing infrastructure software components, writing code according to UML design specifications using object-oriented methodology, performing thorough unit ad integration tests on test code, participating in the design review process in order to identify and close gaps between business requirements and design, as well as suggesting design enhancements to moderately complex software. Responsibilities also include updating design documents in accordance with implementation changes agreed to the team.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • BA/BS degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in software design and development
  • Experience with Documentum or Interwoven TeamSite basic infrastructure, Templating and OpenDeploy/DataDeploy with installation, upgrades, configuration and support are required.
  • Experience with application Servers
  • Experience in software development of web applications
  • Strong knowledge of Internet concepts and Web pages is required.
