C# ASP.NET Developer	Permanent

Large Investment Firm located in Naperville, a western suburb of Chicago, is looking for an individual to join their development team. Individual with have 3-5 years experience in C# ASP.NET development and will have extensive experience doing Back End development. Individual will have a strong understanding of Object Oriented development and have 3-5 years experience in full application development life cycle from inception through implementation. Principal Accountabilities: Design and develop solutions using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005/2008. Provide production support for corporate systems. Conduct design and code reviews with architect and/or senior developers. Follow standards and processes such as SDLC, architecture, design and coding standards. Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems to validate potential solutions and to mitigate development risks early in the development process. Assist project manager to develop detailed project estimates and work plans. Work with project manager to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet clients' and users' business needs and expectation of quality. Own the application quality along the dimensions of performance, usability, reliability, maintainability and extensibility. Research, recommend, and apply new technologies if applicable. Strive to improve technical skills as well as knowledge of business processes. Ensure overall compliance to all relevant Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO and internal audit requirements. Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field required. 3-5 years experience in ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft SQL 2005/2008, MS Office development, SSIS and SSRS; ability to write high quality code within tight schedules. 1-3 years experience in SharePoint development. Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design. 3-5 years experience in full application development life cycle from inception through implementation. Ability to understand business requirements, provide an accurate estimate and deliver quality work within estimates. Strong verbal communication and inter-personal skills. Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment. Experience in investment management firm preferred. Must be able to quickly adapt to new technologies and/or business processes
