Job Summary:
Responsible for a variety of job duties related to medical dispatching and medical communications.
Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.

Required Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED equivalent
Good oral and written communication skills
Current EMT certification, at a minimum
At least one year of field experience as an EMT and be capable of lifting heavy patients and equipment
Good typing skills and good map reading skills
Some experience with dispatching is also required or
One year of experience dispatching for a hospital based transport or E.M.S. operation
Must have acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:
Ohio EMT-P certificate
Two years of college
