Job Description
POSITION DUTIES:
Core member of KB Global Application Shared Service PLM assisting in planning activities, providing work estimates, developing functional design specifications, application configuration, testing, user support, training and developing documentation. Enhance Rail regional business productivity by managing information systems and processes. This includes, but is not limited to, systems for Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) including Computer Aided Design (CAD), CADIM, Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECN), Document Management Systems ( DMS), and all tools related to engineering product development applications. Implements controls for information security required to protect intellectual property. Develops new processes and workflows to optimize data utilization. Works closely with Global & Regional teams to integrate data systems for cross-functional/cross-company optimization. Performs the above as required for all Rail locations in NA Required Skills
POSITION REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor Degree, CS or Computer Information Systems
- Three - five years job related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CADIM, UG, SQL, ASP, Internet/HTML, VB
- Fluent in a Microsoft Groupware Office user tools.
- Strong working knowledge of relational databases and Client Server concepts.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in application training and technical presentations.
- Ability to recognize problems and implement solutions regarding PLM, PDM, CAD and engineering processes
- Customer focus
- Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision.
