App Development Senior Specialist	Contract

Assuming this role, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver system solutions to meet customer expectations and schedule. Develop technical specifications by working with the business and business analysts. Research and evaluate technology solutions to strengthen the pricing application production throughout and recommend the most efficient and cost effective application programming solutions. Document, test, implement, and provide production support for as required. The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Typically six or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT A minimum four years of experience with application program development or the equivalent in education and work experience Must have experience in Cobol Must have strong DB2 skills to handle large volumes Must have excellent analytical skills and the ability to multi-task between analysis, design, and coding Additionally SQL Server experience will be a plus
